"The mood here is one of absolute determination to grapple with some of the complexities we face — and to really work hard on what the next steps are."

- Cassandra Goldie, CEO ACOSS

Part leader’s retreat, part innovation
lab and part strategy war room -- Leadership provides space for senior and emerging leaders to share knowledge, build trust and form unusual alliances for change.

From energy choices to economic inequality, the widening gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australian's, a seemingly hostile approach towards refugees and questions around our identity in an increasingly globalised, insecure world -- there's no doubt the next term of government faces major crunch-points on some of society's biggest issues. The vision, connections and teamwork required to strengthen our approach to these issues cannot be left to the government alone.

It's up to us - the leaders and thinkers who drive Australia's civil society movement - to step up and lead the creative and courageous conversations needed to improve our nation's future.

*If an election is held in the first months of 2019, Leadership will be moved to April 9-10 (still at Old Parliament House) to ensure the most timely event possible. We recommend holding both dates in your diary.

Here's what 2016 participants had to say about their Leadership experience:

OTHER CONFERENCES

After Leadership, we are also holding Progress 2019 - bringing together 1,700
change makers at Melbourne Town Hall on June 20-21. Progress will be a chance to
build momentum and mobilise around the results of Leadership. We encourage CEOs to
come to both events, and register your team for Progress.
